Look closely under the bonnet at the inner wings, behind the headlights, in at the bulkhead, just all around that area Depends on the owner but it would be good to have a crosshead screwdriver to lift the carpet edges in the footwells. Same for the boot carpet as rear floors are a big issue...

Might be worth checking price of insurance before committing.

My Disco is on springs but I'm gathering up the bits to go back to air using a second hand compressor and new airbags. Under 100k miles and rust free (I think) so will be better original. Each to their own I suppose.

Yep, I read the whole thread but took the price as a complete job.

I've just finished a clutch job on a Defender today, that box complete with ancillaries is no easy job unless you have the proper gear or strong help. There's a lot of dismantling. Personally I thought that price sounded acceptable.
