I'd love a garage like that, great loft too.

I'm surprised the scaffold boards are cost effective because they are thick and sturdy so you'd have thought they wouldn't be cheaper than ordinary floorboards. Makes a nice strong floor though.

As @Stanleysteamer mentioned do you have to account for the weight though? I would think they must be much heavier than a floor made of floorboards or tongue and groove chipboard sheets etc?

Having discovered, when I was executor for my father's will, that the only thing that CAN be paid for out of the estate before probate, is the funeral, all these adverts for funeral plans totally flip me off.
All you have to do is have an arrangement with the funeral home and the deceased's bank, before they pop off and no need for any of this.
All this "I'm so worried about my poor family having to shell out all this dosh when I go."
Pffffft. Absolutely stinks.

In my case we were luckier than most as the army, or the army pensions people, paid for it, as they felt his death was in part due to what happened to him during the war, i.e. medical negligence.
This got two wows so maybe I should explain. He went months during training on Salisbury Plain, in tanks, not able to keep up physically, night sweats, perpetual cough, classic symptoms.
The MO kept saying he had nothing wrong with him.
Then a new MO arrived, examined him and called in all the MOs for miles around to have my pop stand in a room in front of them.
"This man has TB, don't any of you lot ever miss this in another soldier."
So, invalided out immediately.
Not cured until 1953 odd. Lost 4/5ths of his functioning lung area. Still lived to 76 though!

Afternoon folks :).

Well that's us back ome now after a lovely late breakfast at the hotel.
A nice sunny bright day here long may it continue, Warm or not the fire has been lit as is wasnt on yesterday so need a bit of heat going in the floors for when the sun goes down.

Entertainment and Glue vine were superb last night:p. The last band in the concert were a little known band called East 17:oops:. They were pretty good even though they (well only 1 original apparently) are not exactly a boy band anymore:p.

Back toit tomorrow:rolleyes:, but until then we are gonna relax.

So you leave the metal on some of them? Or you just ain't got around to taking that bit off?
no matter!
OK
I am convinced, obviously very strong and tough.
Did you need to take the weight into consideration when buiding the rest of it?
I have no need right now but i need to find a supplier near me.

Thanks for showing us all this.:):):)

No I aint leaving the metal on 🤣 The trusses are plenty strong enough plus if you look at the garage walls you will see some
pillars, im putting H beams on top of these to give more support, plus I can fit rollers on em.:cool:
