I will put them through on the old blades first & make sure it takes all the heads off the screws n nails before destroying the
new ones. 🤣 🤣
Hee Hee!
Then you'll miss one where it has gone through the gap that another one took out!! Then you'll flipping swear!!
I have to admit I am thinking here of a fixed planer/thicknesser.
Maybe you could be so OCD as to use a lickle metal detector first, the sort you use to find pipes in walls.

(Ignore me It's New Years Day and I haven't even started on the champagne yet!!!)🤣🤣🤣

A prick in the hand is worth two in the bush. 🤣🤣

Was collecting me washing yesdi and had a check round me garden. There be an 8 foot lenf of ivy going up a tree. Broke a bit oft in the middle to slow it down. Need to go oot and remove it and its roots when it warms up a bit.

Ive got some ivy at the back of the shed but its a pain to get to as there is a 6 foot boundary fence & jaggy bushes, I aint
looking forward to tackling that.

Well 2025 is off to a good start.
😃

Today I managed to get a second insert made with a broached Hex-hole. Today's one didn't go as easily as yesterday's, and I don't know why (yet). The broach appears undamaged but the cutting was really slow with a false start.
🙁

But we got there in the end.
🙂

Here are 2 almost complete units. One is bolted tightly together in preparation for welding, the other just has a hex bar through it to illustrate that the two 12mm hex-hole drive sockets are aligned.
The holes are pretty "snug" so I am reasonably confident that they will work well. My fall-back plan is to make the inserts out of mild steel if these hard aluminium ones fail.

I had to buy new boards for the scaffold & I thought since ive done a few floors with them id use them for the floor. I could make
other things out of them & buy other material for the floor. Ive seen that chipboard flooring tbh ive not priced anything else.
I might do that later, only one issue is delivery here is a pita or use one of two local merchants one will be a no no.
Now your making me re-think. (now thats dangerous) 🤣🤣
22mm green T&G water resistance chipp board foam stuck to your joists and all joints ?

I use Bauhaus for a lot of things you know you can get every thing you need and the quality is good 👍
Yes a lot of their stuff is good quality and it's a good place to buy tools due to the money back guarantee.

I did buy a door in another shop recently, for a different job and they didn't have any 80 width ones in stock so knowing I needed an 80 and a 90 this time I went to Bauhaus and they look like better doors to be honest. Only slightly more expensive and the 90 was the last one and slightly damaged so got a discount on it too.
