Well I drank the vodka :D, good thing someone else is putting the horses out this morning as I only just woke up

How is everyone else?

Cant decide whether to go to the sales or get the Landy ready for Sunday.

Of course if any of the Landy places have a sale I could do both :D:D

Meet time and place for Sunday

9am

National Park Centre Car Park :D:D:D
Hebden Road Grassington North Yorkshire BD23 5LB

Cant wait for Sunday now, got an action cam for Christmas, its only a basic one but I should be able to get some videos.

Assuming I can find my glasses and work out how to use it

Would anyone mind if I tagged along?

Got full recovery kit and experienced laner :)
But never been to Yorkshire laning and always wanted to :)

No problem

Will have to put you in group one, but they are only missing out 2 lanes. Anyone wanting a go at those two lanes can join Group 2 which can be split in two so no one will miss out :D:D

Sunday 29th December 2013 Northern Dales/Tees trip, Meet time 9am

National Park Centre Car Park
Hebden Road Grassington North Yorkshire BD23 5LB

Easier Routes (suitable for newbies and other stuff with recovery points )

Group 1 - Easier Routes (suitable for newbies and other stuff with recovery points ) Same route, just miss the two really difficult bits

1. GDHaydock
2. Beaver - if Neil can fix the Landy in time
3. Difflock - if he fixes the Landy in time
4. Deasy
5.
6. Suew

Group 2 - Harder stuff (not suitable for Freelanders )

1. Nrgserv - probably, possibly, maybe
2. Sarah90
3. AJC
4. Matthew (AJCs friend)
5. Andy (AJCs other friend)
6. 200

Just to clarify, when I say easier for group 1, it only misses two lanes which are know to cause damage, particularly to Discoverys (obviously we wouldn't take a Freelander or similar down them :D)

How do they cause damage?
Lol I have a disco

Washed out lanes which cause fairly extreme tipping. A Diahatsu went out with us on Sunday and tipped over onto the bank, I though my Defender was going as well but Discopol was in the passenger seat and that kept it on its wheels. Both have side bankings with rocks, if you drive too close to the bank it damages the side of your Disco. I have caught my Defender once but it seems less likely. Group one is missing these out :D:D

Will say Lowey went down the same lane in his lifted Disco with no problem at all :D:D

Only 32 mile from me! :)

See you Sunday. I'm not sure if I may have to take the easy route as my friends discos are off road prepared, but not quite to the extreme mine is.

We'll see Sunday morning anyway. :)

Its not a problem, you can miss out any bits necessary, they are all easy to bypass.

I just wanted to warn people

Belford was defiantly worse and the river was about 6" of the drivers side window the first time we went through it:D

I wont be unnecessarily damaging my motor, so if it means reversing out, i'll be doing that.

No need to, there are plenty of ways round the bad bits, 200 has offered to lead the bad ones if necessary. Then its up to people to decide if they want to go or not
