Hi Graham

Yes still around, don't contribute a lot but keep a watching brief. This
newsgroup, like a lot of others, does not seem to have a lot going on at the
moment, even Clic is a shadow of its former self. I tend to use more web
based forums now as any discussion on 4X4's tends to be around their towing
capabilities which is what I am more interested in.

I've met him, ugly sort, rather hairy ;-)

I made my thoughts clear on this in a.f.l - however the ****wit Firth
although happy to crosspost his comments doesn't appear to have the
will to read all of the groups he grossposts to, ergo, a ****witted
spammer of the lowest mentality. And a ****ish netkop by all
accounts. Like dog****e, best avoided and ignored IMO.

It would have been great to have seen the Llama built but nothing to do
with me....

My LLAMA actually comes from a very long tale of a girl who used to drink
in my old local when I was about 20 who when drunk ( me not her ) always
reminded me of a llama!!!!!

Hairy, smelly and spat a lot. I would have found a new watering hole.

Huw

Oh well I wrote the following a couple of weeks ago in response to a
similar bad tempered series of rants

Two pieces of advice from David have saved friends a fair sum of money
and a lot of trouble, his occasional product suggestion has saved many
people cost and time spent on trial and error . . . I'm all for his
helpful 'advertorial'
and will make my own mind up about its value thanks.

Weird thing is that Steve Firth's postings are entirely absent from
the threads I'm reading from Google so perhaps God is on David's side!

Ta, Lurch

Well, I still find Steve Firth edited out of the definitive record at
Google as is 'Eddie' . . .

Still have not changed my mind although I disagree with David on some
things and indeed many others it is the differences and talked through
ideas and concepts (and occasional infomercials) that make this group
good when it is good.

Now, I have an acquaintance in need of some SJ 413 bits, anyone know
of one with a decent engine being broken in the Midlands?

Cheers, Lurch
