I flatted the black plastic on mine and used some heat proof Matt black paint. No real need for it to be heat proof but thats all I had in the garageI need to sort mine out the plastics, especially under the headlights, are more yellow than black
nahThought about a change in jobs?
Polishing is our 'enery's hobby, he's very proud of his helmet.Nice eners lad. Thought about a change in jobs?

Advantage (at the moment) of Otto's unusual colour. The colour fading on the grille, etc has turned them to almost body colour parts!I need to sort mine out the plastics, especially under the headlights, are more yellow than black
That's done well then,7years JLR quality. At my local detainers having some paint correction done!
All wheels gone for refurbishment & front bumper removed & being resprayed as lacquer peeling off. It’s a 2014 4.4 Vogue SE
Yes. Had to replace the bonnet vent for same reason! That's done well then,7years JLR quality.
The Bosses X type is loosing some lacquer, mainly on the boot lid,I think the bird sh1t is very acidic around here.its an 02 with 43k on the clock so stands around a lot She's just dropped the bombshell, she wants to go and look for a new car this morning. think it'll be a new to her not brand new.the BMW before the Jag was sold with 37k on it.Yes. Had to replace the bonnet vent for same reason!

Wow that's not good at only 7 years old. Any idea if this a model/year problem, or because a previous owner did something to cause it?
She'll look great when you get her back
Apparently it’s a known problem caused by sunlight!
I can believe that,my 1996 Clio in Furteventura has been shedding it's lacquer for years. It'll have non left by the time I get a chance to return.Previous owner was JLR. Ex- management pool car. 3 yrs old & only 7 k on clock when I bought it off a main dealer. Apparently it’s a known problem caused by sunlight!
It will be mint when your done buddy. Glad to see another fellow L405 owner showing his Rangie some love. Mine is and always has been garaged so most likely explains her immaculate condition and the main reason i bought her. JLR pool vehicles do get ragged but they also get sorted out prior to disposal in to the trade. My mate is a exec @ AML and their pool cars get hammered ( so they should ) and then end up at a selected main dealer looking like new again. Same with any hire car. It don't belong to the individual driving it so they will indeed rag it. LOL.Previous owner was JLR. Ex- management pool car. 3 yrs old & only 7 k on clock when I bought it off a main dealer.
