got the clutch unsiezed and had it driving about - can't seem to get 4wd to work but i didnt try for long i dropped it off the stands and drove it up and down the drive :)

there is a noise from the front n/s hopefully its due to the odd sized tyres ive got on temporarily but i doubt it

the brakes are literally none existant - i suspect they are all siezed but i was planning on stripping them all anyway:)

Was gona ask how it drove, like a bag of crusty spanners by the sounds of it!:rolly:

i think when i fit the front parabolics the ride will be much better:D

got my 2 front wellers fitted tonight and tomorrow i'm gonna move it round to my garage to make a start on getting the welding done

i have a set of 4 original wheels - are they worth anything or of use to anyone? or should i just chuck them in the scrap?

driven it round to its new parking space - bit of an incline to get up - you certainly wouldn't have done it in a regular car but she managed no problems - i even forgot to engage the front hubs so it was only 2wd low range:)

there is a red light in the centre of the clocks that is constantly on - even when the key is out anyone know what is it for and why its on?

i'll have to get some skateboarding elbow pads:):D

got the bulkhead and top door hinge all welded today - just looked at my photos and they are no good you cant see for the sun............... but its done now:)

also fitted the starter solenoid so it starts on the key

ordered 4 front brake cylinders - i use the handbrake to stop it now that seems to work ok

still need to find out what the red light in the middle of the clocks is so i dont need to keep disconnecting the battery when i park it up

also i'm thinking of selling the full interior and replacing it with something a bit more basic - anyone any idea of its value? its in pritty good condition i think i would ruin it.

i think i'll fit a cut off like that but i'd still like to get rid of this light :)

Q. does anyone know the name of the colour? as i'd like to get a can to spray the repair on the bulkhead - i think long term i'll keep it the original colour but with a black roof

If the red light isn't the oil pressure warning then it's the charge light which is telling you that the alternator isn't working. There must be an owners manual online somewhere - well worth having, full of genuinely useful info (not like modern manuals at all).
