I was 15hrs over my holiday entitlement, as I had to take days off to take Dad to the hospital, haem infusions (2 days), and for his wheelchair assessment ... didn't have any days left to take him for a hearing check before Christmas ...

Shame we don't get Carer Days eh ?

I got wages deducted for going to the Cancer hospital,

even through I am friends with the yard owner seams there is no compassion, im getting to realise they are all for themselves. So its all about me from now on.

I'm sure your allowed to claim Sick Days for yourself, we get Docs, Dentist, Optician and many of our girls go for diabetic checks too ...

Being a key worker should have pushed for it . If you get sick pay you get hospital to, next time thay want you to do overtime say you are sick

Two weeks oft in March for me Burpdi. Down to pastyland, must remind the gaffer tomorrow.
That and the six month pay review that was due in September.

My gaffer, and my wife's, are much the same as yourn I'm afraid Kev. The bloke who sweeps the yard is on a better rate than she, an she effectively runs the outfit. Though things are coming to a head, an she is a right sod when necessary.
