Got sent this when I was out...........
Thas made the the inside of me head scratchy. I get the kilo bit, is always the same mass but not the same weight depending on g. But I thought a n was a constant, independent of g. I mean a force doesn't always go down as it were does it. And small things, like a solenoid or spring, can exert more force than they weigh?Mass is the amount of material present in a substance. Measured in kilos. An object will have the same mass throughout the universe. Force, measured in Newtons, is the mass x acceleration due to gravity. Acceleration due to gravity on earth is 9.81 metres per second squared. ( @Hippo homework example appears to use the approximate value of 10m/s2). The force due to gravity varies throughout the universe, as you would understand the gravity on the moon is less than on earth so the force exerted by an object on the moon is less than on earth. As Sir Issac Newton said when the apple landed on his head, "OUCH"
Not at all, you are unlucky that I used to be a cocktail barman once and actually had to know all this stuff, now muchly forgotten, except for favourite ones. Or I'd have been as much in the dark as many.I stand corrected I am now in the corner on the naughty seat

I have read that landscape photography is surprisingly hard and you can spend all day or many days waiting to get exactly the right conditions for exactly the right shot. This person obviously did just that.Nope not my pic, I cant take the credit for that.
Oh dear, doesn't look good.
So did I, as far as the sciences were concerned! So please let me bear with you too!!Thas made the the inside of me head scratchy. I stopped gettin educaterated at seventeen, bear with me..

I have for years wanted to take a pic of Corfe Castle being lit by a shaft of light through cloud just above it as it sits nestling in the gap in the Purbecks. Tried quite a few times but never managed it.
Shame cant you just get one off google an abandon the mission.
Would it manage even that !!!He wants to pull a caravan, not a rice pud skin
You are right on that it has no resemblance in taste to a plum !Not at all, you are unlucky that I used to be a cocktail barman once and actually had to know all this stuff, now muchly forgotten, except for favourite ones. Or I'd have been as much in the dark as many.
It is funny how when fruits become the basis for spirits or "eau de vie" as the Frogs call them, that the original taste of the fruit is not so obvious.
