I tried registering as @kevstar but I will still have to pay!
Tekin a break from present wrapping.
"We" bought a load of Edinburgh Crystal at auction, as usual twas a bargin.
But now some has to go to the Scottish island, some to Wales and some to deepest Worcstershire.
The decanters weigh in at nearly 2.2 Kg each. . AND of course we are sending other stuff with them, like glasses etc
So you can imagine the faff, wrapping them Christmassy then in bubble wrap then struggling to find big enough boxes as she WILL send calendars too!
Our mate who runs a DPD depot and used to send our stuff for free, no matter how much we offered him ready money, has not responded to gentle "get back in touch now we are back" messages. So I have been foprced to open an account.

And to think that we sent off 6 calendars and cards to 6 families, plus one or two other items in one box, plus two other cards to Frogland and one to Holland, yessdi. That lot cost £82 and each package's value was much less than the postal cost. We are knuts. Still the recipients of today's lots will prolly be sending us specialist whiskies or gins, so not really a big deal!
Have fun all!!

For several years I have been saying that now that Cummins engines in Land Rovers have become somewhat passé, the next frontier is a JCB engine conversion. Well, this man has done it:
It's a slightly more recent engine than I had in mind but he's got it to fit.
Incidentally, have I been pronouncing Salisbury axles incorrectly all these years? I always thought it would be pronounced like the town, but he says he's got a 'Sailsbury' axle.
Youd better send your parcels like this..................

More likely one of them fringe nutters they have to tick a box for. You're rare, hence the frequency..Definitely a Freelander owner is seen as a more refined and well-rounded person, capable of making proper decisions about vehicles.
I was asked to do IPSOS surveys - get quite a few through.
As in, we have a Land Rover that dunt leak and fall apart? You're rare
Summink like that, yesAs in, we have a Land Rover that dunt leak and fall apart?
