Me local council is giving all pensioners in the area, a free slow cookerer or an air fryer. No strings, one per household if yer over 66. Just fill in a short form online and wait for it to be delivered. I've delegated the form filling to 'er indoors

I took a triumph Bonneville engine out of a bike more than a decade ago, its been lying on the garage floor since then. Cleaned it up earlier this year and got a few new parts for it. And left it to gather dust. Today I took delivery of a new pair of con rods, made from aircraft quality steel (the originals are alloy), these new ones are very close to the original weight, maybe a few grams less. And superb quality (which came at an eye watering cost). Should get on with the rebuild tomorrow . The old rods are now man cave ornaments.

Alan dunt got much fashion taste, what with a patterned shirt and a patterned tie. But he can be forgiven as he is soon to be 81.
And could you politely ask the photo taker to get a better resolution of camera… I can’t quite make out the text message.
