spent all day in a underground water tank with a grinder with wire brush attachment cleaning walls be in it tomorrow to cannot hold a cup of tea due to the shakersWent to the local bistro tonight an got a festive dinner with all the trimmings.

Oooofttt sounds horrible, Ive done hours n hours of grinding working of grp boats its horrible ive tried anti vibration gloves
but you cant hold the grinder properly with them as they are too thick. I dont envy your task.
Could have beer through a straw if you cant hold it.

I've contacted the plumber re the paperwork for the pump as he took off without leaving it for me, or the electrician.
This seems to the button you have to hold for 3 seconds to make stuff work, but nothing happens.
and here is the socket with three pins in it, with nothing stuck into it.
It is a UPS3 15-50/65 130 if that means anything to anyone.
I will have to have a dig on t'internet to see if I can get more info on it.
I'll take more pics tomoz and answer peeps questions tomoz, have had quite a busy day today as W has wanted to get a load of Xmas stuff done, like shopping,Xmas lights up, batteries found and tested, etc etc.

IIRC The nickle socket is for variants that has Pulse Width Modulation from a controller. You is just on and oft so shunt be an issue.
Also, some systems open the motorized valve fust which then signals the pump. Has you tried just running the pump from a three pin plug, is only three core and no Stanage is likely..

That pump will never run in your system I think.
It is looking for a control signal to arrive on those pins in that connector. Your system doesn't do that.
Your system is a simpler power on/off type. That pump has permanent power and a separate control signal.
