This is for @Stanleysteamer and other peeps that like the ingrish langwage.
Very funny and almost completely accurate.
This is why I tell foreigners that English is one of the easiest languages to get started in and use successfully, but full mastery is difficult.
All due to us having been invaded over and over again until after the Normans.
thanks for livening up my arternoon!:):):):):):):)

1936 Solid Brick only cavities are in my teeth. :(
12 room (inc. the Downstairs loo). All fully DG but 8 foot tall rooms that soak up heat. :)

12 rooms wow that's alot are you including the aring cupboard, thought our place was big:eek:
Guess now you have TRVs you best turn 6-8 of them off;). I would love 8ft ceilings if only to not have to get the step ladder out to change lights;).

We have lots of windows but with 33mm DG and have insulated the outside on 3 walls. No cavities.

We are not in Winter yet and the average daily energy cost is running at £9.97/day.
That's £310 per month. :(
Avg. daily Kwh Electric is 16.34 and Gas is 34.6
I reckon that real winter temperatures will see the gas triple but the electric only increase marginally.
What really annoys me is that the Admin charge is running at 6% for electric and 7% for Gas. That's for doing what? I take the readings, they send me an e-bill.
Aren't their costs of supply part of their business costs? Why am I paying? Its a scandal.
Does the Supermarket charge you for producing the till receipt? NO.
It takes a lot of electricity to process natural gas from its ambient -167 degrees C which it is kept at for transport in ships and in storage tanks, to bring it up to national grid pipeline temperature (about 10 degrees if I remember right) and then get it to your house. (I did a big pipeline job on the Isle of Grain for just this a few years ago and learned a bit - ship to shore transport lines). Dunno about the leccy though but guess it takes a lot of leccy to push a few volts from the power station to your house.

3 proper bedrooms, 2 studies ('is-n-'ers), 2 bathrooms, Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen/Breakfast room, Utility room, Downstairs bog, + Hall & Landing. It all adds up.
But the heat all sits at the top of each room while your feet freeze! LOL :D The TRV's are down at 1 in all rooms we aren't using and only get turned up if we have guests staying in them.
According tothe Energy Co. I use twice what neighbouring properties use (beats me how). :(

Maybe the nieghbours live in 2 rooms:eek: cos they cant afford to heat the rest;)
Underfloor heating warms your toes on the way past makes your head feel warm, its the only way:).

Having had 2 myocardial perfusion tests of the ticker already this month they just called and now want me in for an ECG on Saturday the 26th.
I wonder if the Perfusion test has thrown something up?
Curious and Curiouser. Well at least they are being thorough.

Sounds like they want to be through, hope its so they can say "oh yeah as we fort fit as":), fingers crossed.
Just as a side, I could go to my doctor tomorrow, wait in line and get an ECG;).

8 foot tall is totally normal, near as dammit 2m 40 which is very very normal. Our place is 2m 40.
Our place in frogland is 2m 50 which is normal over there. Our ever so slightly ponsy neighbours have 2m 80 or summat. built buy the same peeps about 1 year earlier.
Our Georgian place in Bath had ridiculously tall walls, couldn't tell you what they were but they were stooopid.
(Except in the basement and the servants quarters in the attic where I could reach up and touch the ceiling.)
It's a sho offy thing. but your's is normal!;)

Oh yes, for my specific model etc. All "Out of stock". But I treat the one I have very gently and it still works better than any other shaver I have ever owned (even the £150+ Philips POS) and I will treat it gently and maybe the foils will last my remaining lifetime (15 yrs). ;)

Have you tried buying another of the same model ?

It was only a small one, not the full J Arthur. (anyway that's a Tam-Tam not a gong, no matter.)
She reckoned she "needed" it to get my attention in Frogland when I am at the far end of the land and she wants summat.
I said, "If you are that bothered we can just get walkie-talkies". but that fell on stony ground.
Lord knows what goes through her brain sometimes.

Dunt yer mobiles work ?
