Morning All :D
No drama's to report. :)
Weather exceptionally mild, but very wet & dark today. :)
Did some lathe-boy stuff yesterday and replaced the parts I had made in steel with Aluminium. This has saved 8 Ozs on the weight of the 2WD tricycle diff unit I made. :)
Sister is visiting this Sunday, so I am ordered to do some tidying and sprucing up of the place. :(
Have a great day. :D

Is the grab attached to yer truck, im needing some firewood brought down from the hill. :D
No it’s attached to 1 of these..picks the logs up & feeds it’s own onboard chipper

Yes of course I have an overlocker, makes life easier for things. Tell her I'm debating on an industrial or a cover stitch. But I've not long bought a landy so money goes on that first.
In the days when she would really have needed an overlocker she could not afford one, since then, and since she met me, she has worked abroad so much that although she could have got one she would not have been around enough to use it! Just coming home at weekends, she took smaller projects with her.
I'd like an industrial machine cos I make soft tops and tonneau covers for kit cars, but at the moment I haven't got the room. She has at least 4 sewing machines, including a treadle Singer and I have one, another old Singer as it needs to be that sort to sew vinyl etc for the jobs I do.
She's just told me that although I bought her the Janome she has, which she loved at the time, she has just told me she wants another one as the old one "doesn't do the sort of embroidery she wants to do"! so maybe that is Christmas sorted out.;)
I'd like a lathe and there is one in an auction this Saturday, near here,

with loads of bits as you can see. But it's probably a bit puny for the sort of stuff I'd want to do.
Others will comment.
but yet again, no space at the moment.
Guide price £300 to £500. no idea if that is likely to be right, but we do get lots of bargains from here!

They are ok if you only do small light duty stuff. I am not a fan to be honest but if it suits your application then at £300 probably worth it. At £500 it is a bit steep. It looks to have a lot of accessories which are worth having. The condition of the bed etc would be worth checking along with backlash etc in the cross slides.
