I'm 'ere …. eventually. :(
My desktop has gone kaput. :( The power button has packed in, I did check the internal little battery but that reads as being in good condition. Things always go break down at the wrong time! I was in the process of arranging insurance cover for my tin tent and 'they' were due to send me the needed documents by email which I needed to print off. I am now using my laptop but that wasn't connected to the printer so I had to get out the instruction book and try to work out how to get the laptop and the printer into friendship mode. Cracked it eventually but it took me too much time and just to add to my problem I am away for the coming week so can't get 'the man' to do a repair ( assuming Dell still hold the part) until I come back. I find the desktop easier to use than the laptop - old age has set in.:)

That's two watches, a clock and a desktop computer that have signed off this week. :( Not forgetting one full day of unwelcome snow. :(
Poor you.
Hope you get sorted out soon!:(:(:(

Oh no it didn't, you is now awaiting your gotcha!
If you read up on him he made Harry H Corbett's life a bit of a misery.
But there you go!
Off to work on your gotcha now......;););)
Ere we go

I did go there and there does seem to be some parts although me buying blind would be a mistake as my knowledge of computer inners can be written on a pin head! I will make some time today to contact my 'Easy PC' man to see if he can help. Normally, his service is done in the client's home but I won't be here so I will see if I can drop it off at his home and leave it there for the week. :)

I hope you were up to date with deleting your browsing history and cookies before you hand it over to a repairer.

It seems a bit warmer today but it is grey and dull. Normal service 'ere and I'm enjoying mi cuppa in mi pit.:)

A busy day in prospect as I try to complete the tin tent preparation, set up an outdoor camera - just in case (I haven't got an Edgar to watch over it ) - then off to the bottle bank. I have been clearing out the food cupboards of all the no-longer-needed items and it is staggering just how many glass jars I have ended up with and then I must go to the watch battery shop in the hope that their new stock has arrived. The there could be a drive to Mr Easy PC if he is able to take it.

I am looking forward to sitting in a field just watching the world go by.:) I haven't a clue how anything works in this new van so trying to make sense of all that will keep me busy - the central heating will be my no. 1 priority!

I wish you all a happy and productive day and hope you get everything done as planned.:)
