The power button has packed in, I did check the internal little battery but that reads as being in good condition. Things always go break down at the wrong time! I was in the process of arranging insurance cover for my tin tent and 'they' were due to send me the needed documents by email which I needed to print off. I am now using my laptop but that wasn't connected to the printer so I had to get out the instruction book and try to work out how to get the laptop and the printer into friendship mode. Cracked it eventually but it took me too much time and just to add to my problem I am away for the coming week so can't get 'the man' to do a repair ( assuming Dell still hold the part) until I come back. I find the desktop easier to use than the laptop - old age has set in. Not forgetting one full day of unwelcome snow.
