But rumour has it that the French are definitely "soap-dodgers" at every opportunity. :O
Not quite true!
(It used to be, it was measured back in the day in numbers of cakes of soap used per person. and yes the frogs didn't come top of the shop for a while.)
I have never experienced it for a long time now.
But back in 1979, in Lille, when we used to go to "Zin-Zin" which were student disco equivalents, in the winter, when things warmed up to the point that outer clothing was removed, the BO used to wash over you in a sort of miasma.:(:(:(:(
But then students is students!
Also, there was so much heat generated that it actually used to rain indoors! One of the buildings had a very high ceiling and in the winter the sweat and general water vapour off the crowd used to rise, condense then fall as rain! Didn't believe it until I experienced it.
At least it was pure water.

So wot white wash is the bestist washin or paintin
At the price of it, you'd never want to wash in white wash!
Even their washing detergent liquid smells like it was made by a perfume manufacturer, like Chanel, even the non-perfumed stuff as one of us is allergic to perfume in soap. (Me, it brings me out in hives, so I have to wash in other stuff, well my face. the rest of me takes any old rubbish.);););)

That's all well and good but what do you wash your frog in?
