They were spread in an arc and approaching him in a pincer movement. When I saw them they were less than a metre away and still advancing!
His back and the sides are covered - the back is blocked by stock fencing as well as a 'chicken wire' fence which are buried within the big old hedge, it's the frontal approach that is vulnerable. I have thought of constructing a 'wire' fence but he wouldn't go behind that
instead he would just go and find another of the pre-prepared (by them) hiddy holes! He is just so trusting of the wildlife and doesn't see the threat. He just moved away to let them attack the dinner rather than fight them off. 'Love and peace' is the nature of the Beardies!
There are two of them in the garden but they do not like them and won't go in. They want to be out in the open to just lap up the atmosphere of country living!! This is the first year I have experienced this. Extermination seems to be only answer - the magpies not the dogs.Or a kennel?
Nasty little critters (magpies) they attack lambs and rag the nests of other smaller birds to feed their own young. I think you are allowed to trap them if they are endangering livestock (with a ladder-trap or the like) as long as you dispatch them humanely once caught. I don't like the thought of harming any animal but if they are threatening harm to yours, you may have to.There are two of them in the garden but they do not like them and won't go in. I checked my home phone and that has a call from the same number.I just had a missed call on my mobile. They left a message saying they were from Barclays (who I don't have an account with) and call back.
Just thought it was a scam so deleted, blocked and move on.
Decided to check the number and it belongs to a hospital in Northampton
Can numbers get cloned now? I must be really behind the times

I have since had to go back in and uninstall Teamware, which was still there after the "System Restore" which I thought it might be. Wifey and I had a bit of a chat about this and for once I was right. We allowed it to restore "Teamware" as it appeared to have the Norton logo in it symbolising a piece of stuff it might need.
If I had socks in the kitchen, this is what comes of multi-tasking! Shoulda used a tea towel.
