And yes I had to do lots of restarts until all uninstalls had worked as well as downloading their thing to uninstall stuff via iexplore as it wouldn't download via Chrome.
I actually think I have learnt a bit of stuff doing all this!

Went ter me bin last wikkend un there wassa bobbin landid ont fence by me. Was wotchin worreye were doing. Eye put sum wurms ont top ov me bin burrit din't gerrum. Eye fink it wur lukkin but was wotchin me. Eye stepped back 20 foot burrit din't go ferrum.

I phoned the number on the NHS website as it was the same as the one that called me. I did check the who called me site and it was not listed. It is actually an NHS hospital, so quite confused to be honest!

In fact I has had a very slow, thorough an reflective day (of the sort James May would be proud) rebuildin swmbos gifted Dutch push bike. A simple task, but she is over the moon wivvit nevertheless.

Magpies can be a problem. They won’t “kill” adult birds as they need them to produce the food source.
Try a few CDs hanging form branches to annoy them. Plastic owls don’t work.

now as your in wales have you any red kites around( thinking attract them but may scare your dogs)

A china egg, trap and a pair of welding gloves is always another option.

If you want red kites incase you are nowhere near the Welsh red kites. I am sure you could export a few from the M40 OXON / BUCKS corridor, they have got as far north as Banbury now.

Red kites in abundance! Unfortunately the magpies just live harmoniously with them. One of my previous Beardie's best play pals was a …….. red kite! They used to chase about playing run and fly games - the kite used to come to the front of the bungalow and whistle to call Cracker out to play!! It used to amuse the villagers who knew what was happening as soon as the chase -bark started. I think I've told this before but the kite came to bang on the patio doors when it saw me grooming the dog on the floor inside - frightened the life out of me but it wouldn't stop until it's pal came out to play!!

This evening, as the light started to fall, I watched to see if I had any visitors seeing as the dogs were outside. One, a young one I think, flew in but saw me through the window so just swerved away and disappeared. The funny thing was the reaction of the wee dog - he got up and left his 'nest' and cuddled in behind the older one in his nest so that he was shielded, and there he stayed. The older one was basically evicted from his own patch and had to just lie on the outer edge.

The magpie and friends did not come back.

It's when they do the swoop for food that you realise just how big and powerful a bird they are.

We feed them if the winter is particularly hard. It's a good way of emptying the freezer of beef that has not been eaten over the year!

tbh, in lockdown I wear slippers all the time with no socks, obvs (that would be a bit weird wouldn't it?) so no, no socks on feet!
Put socks on when going out, so could prolly count the number of times I have done this so far this year one the fingers of two hands, cos in France I don't wear socks except when wearing workboots, which I don't do often either!
