hi guys, have we decided on a venue yet?? finally got my sound proofing kit for the engine!! going to be a tad tricky to fit i think! any pointers? and also off topic, im 18 as well and so is my defender! love it to pieces! hopefully see you guys this weekend! please keep my posted
 
excellent! look forward to it! its the stuff that goes under the bonnet, like foam/carpet stuff haha! comes in a big roll so you have to cut it yourself :) see you sunday!
 
Was on the way home yesterday when the engine overheated and the top radiator hose has got two holes where it has worn through.

Oh joy of joys !

Is there a list of green laning essentials?

Everytime I stray anymore than half an hour from mine I have like to bring some tools with me just incase, bottle of water etc

I have a few ratchet straps and a massive thick strop used for recovering coaches, thats all the recovery gear I have until I get me winch on then i'll blitz the lot and get all the stuff I need ;)

Should be fine mate, I have enough recovery gear to recover the lot of us lol
 
Woo So I have no Zero wheels on my wagon! Woo.

Anyway I hope that Diff will sort you out Tom. If you need anything just shout. When I have some wheels on my 90 then we can sort out some local lanes for a jolly. Maybe a Whaddon Trip with a few of us that have been before so you don;t damage anything and have a good day. Give Spyderman a PM to get his take on Northants 4X4. Keep an eye on here and don't hide we all do our best to keep each other mobile and having fun.

Which is probably why the last time I was in a tough spot I was there for 29 hours - methinks you should take the word "anything" with a pinch of salt!
 
Lol yea even that Unimog that Glen got failed to recover the tit and his mate in Hertford!

29 hours? Jeez, how did you get that stuck lol

Just hoping my Disco comes back from my mechanic in time, he's doing my brakes currently.....reckoned when he took the discs off they were 5mm thick on the front !!

Someone mentioned Whaddon - i'm a pay and play virgin but am going on Aug the 8th in mine with the kids, will have a mate in tow in his battered and scarred 07 L200 lol
 
Pub meet wednesday? I think i'm going to eat up there and have no work thursday, so will get there early... Should be a nice evening to sit back and enjoy the sights....;)
 
sorry chaps won't be playing tomorrow Landy has a back axle back on today still need to sort the brakes and hubs. Some bugger stole my front one! So I will hopefully be there Wednesday in the landy with new ratioo's Woo Hoo!
 
I'll be there on Wednesday, but not in the Disco as I have a horrid feeling that the head gasket has gone. At best it needs a new water pump and top radiator hose. :(
