13th should be ok for me and Royston ain't a million miles away either. My fuel gauge started working out of the blue today so quite happy???

If you've space in your passenger seat I'd be more than happy to come along on the 13th :)

I'm not in to wrecking mine either! Will be sticking strictly to the white and red/white routes, will leave the red and black routes to the rally offroaders!

Just thought it'd be good to get experience in dealing with poor conditions, just in case a safe looking lane takes a turn for the worse!! :)

If I have a free seat you are welcome to it, atm I can't tell though. Maybe someone else will offer you one.

Sorry pal, it's still a long drive from me as I live near Cambridge..
 
Managed to secure myself a new (well old) 96 Discovery 300tdi ES to replace my old 200TDI which i parted with 18 months or so ago, relativly low miles, southdown snorkle, suspension lift and a few other bits and pieces Few niggles i need to sort (like it being a Cat C write off and its been standing a while) but with a new headlight, indicator, oil cooler, grill, bumper bent back into place, full fluid changes and a good spit and polish it will be good as new and it was a real bargain an absolute steal!

Aim to have it on the road by the end of the month as parts are already winging its way to me, so cant wait to tag along on some adventures.

Oh and anyone got an auto oil cooler they want to part with?

Just rebuilt my indicator switch and a quick test with the DVM lookd promising! Might even have the landy tomorrow night!!
 
There's a lane practically on my doorstep which I have been up and down several times on my own. It was really nice this afternoon long shadows and pretty warm sun for a change! Was so tempted I even came home on it after picking my brother up from school in the landy :D

Who's going to be at the pub tomorrow?

gosh thats lucky.i got a new turbo here to fit and a dead starter on the 130 so all in its the toyota for us again....

i had to ride my pushbike to work today.....:):):)
 
This Saturday is good for laning still, all welcome. I'll finalise a route at the pub meet tomorrow and post it up Thursday night.

Hi Done the White & some of the red route there in a bogo Disco 2 standard with Michilen Lattitudes,

All I will say is keep an eye on the marker boards as I missed one and ended up doing on hump on the black route . Wish I was going to that but on call that weekend..

I didn't half swear alot trying to re assemble this lot back together!



Bloody fiddily and springs ball bearings and bits everywhere! Should work tho now I bet my new one turs up today Typical!
 
OK, there’s a chance I can make it tonight now, so hopefully will be able to pop along this evening! Roughly what time do you guys get there, and is there a specific area you sit so I don’t spend 10 minutes walking gormlessly round the pub?! Cheers! :)
 
Me and benjyp will be coming straight from work at 6... So we will probably be there bang on 7... As MikeV8SE said, is there a specific place you sit??
