By the way we are thinking about Violet lane, how much water is in it, is it drivable?

Thanks for the trip out today, was good fun, can't wait to go again. Just bought some jate rings on ebay, should be here by Thursday. Will try to come along on Saturday if thats ok.

Violets Lane depends on rainfall and what you drive. I've driven it when it was mainly dry with just a few puddles and other times when it's been over the bonnet. To be over my bonnet it's deep believe me. In winter and after rain, I wouildn't do it without a snorkel and a diesel engine.

Will do West Essex on Saturday, as I'm going out Saturday night so don't want to be miles from home. Plenty of good lanes. Recovery points required for this trip, just in case.

March is completely out for me as I'm in Italy teaching/holiday for the month

Just found out I cant make the wales trip - I've got to fly to Ireland on the saturday :doh:

You missed a good afternoon. My column wiring is still hanging loose, indicators stop working as soon as I screw it back together, wiggly wire syndrome.
 
Might be able to come over Wednesday and sort it before the pub meet I'm hoping to have mine back together by then but it depends how long it takes for my stalks to come Really could do with indicators

Glad you had a good afternoon. Spyderman, when you re-wire your ignition, it might be better to put a relay in so you're not switching any current - should be a bit more reliable.

I can't do anything for the next two weekends, will be in Wales. Anyway, should see you all at pub meet on Wednesday.
 
Good to here you had a good day would have loved to come but lots to do on the bobtail
new prop fitted and small amount of welding done today ready for mot in a week or so.
