Dozy fecker.....stick the link in your sig like everyone else.....i dint say you had to edit your post
Well I have met Ratty and he is a top chap, Although I have been warned not to follw him too closely his 110 has a ditch fettish.
Now does anyone know exactly what we have to do to recon leaf springs?
I don't understand why the bearing had welded itself together. It had plenty of play in it side to side. The seal was new but I guess all the crap we have been through and that wee puddle (river) you sat in when trying to tow out carpy must have got water in it or somthing for it to go that bad. Jai
Thats mad. Is there any way the swivel could have let water in to the bearings cos the seal rear hub seal was new and the stub axle didn't look too bad when we took it apart. The old bearings were well shot tho the bearing cages were dead must have been getting so hot they were knackared. Jai
Spyderman did you fancy having a go at trialling or whatever check out my Sig if so see what dates you can make. Jai
The swivel was full of the same really. The whole lot could have passed into the hub i suppose. The free wheeling hubs were full also.
is amazing where the water will get in and how easy it will bypass a seal that is a nice tight fit.
