Dan, You're not wrong there, Hi-Lift handle Polyurethane block to stop it rattling. Paddocks £3.50, certain shop £12.50:eek: for a piece of plastic.

I'm at DB's tomorrow morning, hopefully to finish it. Sounds really sweet, it's got so much more grunt.:D

 i know! for the tree deflectors (washing lines) it was £46 plus VAT i went to homebase and my local diy shop and done it for £12.

a 20ltr jerry can, £38 plus vat, not even halfrauds are that bad!

If all goes to plan tomorrow I'll be looking to take it out for a bit of a shakedown tomorrow night. Ryder is up for it. Not sure where to take it though, don't want to go too far, but I'd like to stretch it's legs a bit, just to make sure there's no problems.

I looked at Tree Wires at the local Chandlers near work, they'll make them up in stainless steel wire and fittings.

Just to let you know though, they're illegal on the road. (bit of a hazard to pedestrians);)

If you want a maglite tomorrow/friday is buying day i need to know if you want one VIA PM as so many people have said yea i've lost count, cost is now fixed including VAT at £18 max for the maglites (1x 3d cell and 1x 2aa cell including batteries, usual price is well over £35/40) i have a few clamps and depending on what types of clamps ppl want etc i will sort them out on the day.

Another good day. DB had to change the Starter Motor as the one on it was shagged. I sorted the rubbing issues on the back, fitted new Bump Stops and Axle Straps, plus rigged up support brackets to reinforce the rear quarters, fitted front valance panel, tidied up the wiring, while DB fitted an electric radiator fan, then proceed to stick his finger in it while it was spinning, resulting in claret everywhere.
Still to do: tighten gearbox mounts, weld seat frames, re-fit floor, re-fit bumper, fit steering wheel, sort headlight main beam and 1 rear light.
Then it's done.:D

I saw the tracks left by DB's yesterday in his front lawn, where he spun the tyres of the Spydiemobile.

lol i'll investigate the damage to the grass tomorrow then!!

not long to go now :)

Roland, gimme a ring tomorrow, about all day fella, i'll try you at some point! i still say 6 at the services and we can get breakfast before going :)
