Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Morning people!!!

I'm Back in sunny england now, my god what a landy heaven i have just returned from. every where you look there's a defender. unfortunately i didnt have mine with me other wise some of the local lanes i spotted looked fantastic!

can't wait for sailsbury and appart from my clutch master cylinder im all ready

Wow ! another great day ..

I love England fantastic with its scenery was so great to see Buzzardz and At least 6 Red Kites flying obove us wow .. and as the sun went down Beth and i had a white phantom of a Barn owl swoop low and fast across the front of us .. Its so good to see wild life in action ..
Also how often do you see an old steam engine chugging along .
Some truly amazing cottages to be discoverd along the way ..

Thanks to you all for sharing a great day again .. with one small mishap of a lack of forward momenton caught me out whilst daydreaming i came to a slow then total stop .. Douh lol . ty Kris lmao ... I called Kriss on the CB , discovering it only works if switched on LOL !

As to to all ramblers and users of our Lanes to witch i always greet with a big grin and a greeting that i find 9 times out of ten is returned ..
Nothing like a ( Have A Nice Day ) attitude goes down well ..Lifes to short for nonsence i say ....

Leonberger, Are you attacking that front bumper of yours today?

I've been in wet and windy scotland, a place caller lochgoilhead, west scotland, been doing lots of power boating and outdoor activities stuff, took 35 lil scouts with us, was interesting at times but all in all a good week!!

I'm really glad to see the spydermobil is finally nearly there! no doubt i'll see you over at db's when i'm there thursday!

Friday will be prep n pack day

DB is on 15.00 - 23.00 this week, so today is my only chance to work with him this week, but Jai is coming as well this afternoon to sort the electrics.
I hope this rain stops so we can really get on this afternoon.

I realy want to ,, But i got a Family thing this afternoon ,,,,

need to get it done this week ,, also need helps doing it .. as lack of tools . Taking off the front spoiler and cutting down the end caps ,,

so much to do, so little time lol

Yes it fits over it just fine. Got to be the star buy of the year. Doubles up as beer Tent too.

I always thought there weren't any legal lanes left in Scotland. You managed to find some?

Was a great day yesterday glad i wasn't the first to get stuck (thanks to leonberger) Some really nice lanes just shame about the a**ehole in the pub. Just sorry i couldn't make the last pub stop as i had to go and pick my dads car up after getting repaired told him ill be there bout 7ish but he wasn't to bothered i turned up at 9.

Thanks again jai for the help and advice on the recovery points just got to try and sort them out before friday.


Stace here - Id also like to add Rose that the Golden Retriever had a clear problem with its rear left leg - Might want to add that to the RSPCA I had a few words with the Landlord. Nothing nasty I just basically told him if he has a dress code it should be displayed clearly on the front entrance and the next time he wanted to come out with an attitude like that he should think twice. If he hadnt of been rude we might've obliged - But it was his rudeness that I told him Dan wasnt wearing the shirt. That really ruined my day as I thought he was a complete and utter **** You can fill that in how you like apart from that thanks for the good day.

There were a few landys coming down one of the "lanes" i've just ordered the OS so i can have a look and see whats up there legally if anything!!

I'll have a look and let you know,

My CB is Buggered, i cant find out whats wrong with it, i've tried replacing the ariel cable and the mount, ariel and checking the earth. and still i cannot recieve unless my squelch is all the way over n hissing at me.........

at the moment the big man is throwing buckets of water at me so sitting on here, back to the landy once it holds up slightly......

Rain stopped play on the Spydiemobile today, but not before a lot getting done first. DB sorted the engine out, while Jai did the wiring, whilst I removed, re-fitted front panel, fixed up washer bottle and bracketry for fuel filter.

We're getting there.
