Gibbo Phil called tonight to say that the batford ford has increased a little in depth... in fact there is no shingle to be seen and the water came up to the windscreen in one place... Is this the same batford ford we usually drive I ask myself?

He also went to Bunyon's chimney to see whether the block is still in place. Ir is so I'll call the council tomorrow!

Hey Dan,

WAY WAY back when this thread first started (I know it seems like a lifetime ago!) you mentioned that you were bringing co drivers for a competition you were planning to get involved with. What is it?

Good news, the Spydiemobile is now moving under it's own power. First time since Billing.
DB moved it today and it's got enough grunt to spin the wheels from stationary, a first.
We'll spend tomorrow morning on it, hopefully finish it off, then take it for a blast in the evening.
Things were looking grim a few weeks ago, but DB, Kev, Glenn, Dan, Kriss & Jai all helping out have really turned things around.
Biggest thanks to all, especially DB for all of the hard work.
Salisbury Plain is calling, with all of this rain it's going to be epic.

the Beast Is Dead On Way Home From Garage Just Cuts Out, Back On The Recovery Truck Back To Garage Will Turn Over Just Nowt Else So My Days Of Being A Green Laner Off Roader Are Now Over

Probably something simple. Sounds electrical. It ain't terminal till it spews it guts all over the road, like mine did. It's a Land Rover, everything is fixable, don't give up.

always in being repaired doing my head in when do you stop spending money on it spent more time being repaired than in the mud so think it could be my time

It won't be cheap for you mate as I rekon it would be a 400 mile round trip....................................

Hey DB... welcome back! Hope you had a simply stunning time in the emerald isle!

400 miles is a cheap weekend in my book! less than £200 with a bite to eat!

Went to a certain shop on the a406 today and i'm so so so glad there are other land rover/of road shops about, £60 for a wading and breather kit?

they can sod right off! half that price on the net!

leonberger, don't use them! it'll cost you double what it needs to!!
