further to my thread about my chassis I have decided to stick with it. I am pretty new to welding and on the top or the side of the chassis it was acceptable, I really started to struggle doing the underside- had enough of molten metal flying down my ear hole

I have decided to take the axle and bulkhead of then I can turn it over and work on it easier.

Hopefully by the end of the weekend I should have all chassis repairs completed. I was just gutted that I thought I was at the point of putting it back together, I have now stripped it down further BUT if I get the repairs out the way then it is full speed ahead, safe in the knowledge that it will pass the MOT hammer test

Sounds like a plan.

My little 80 is like that 10 steps forward 8 back but can see the end of it soon hopefully.

Shout if you need a hand for 10 mins flipping it over

I did and it was good. Managed to drive two sections I've always failed on before. Drove out of the trench with the tree stump, a Disco tried it after me and lost a headlight, indicator and bumper.

OS open maps for logging and saving lanes and routes?
