*sigh*its not a matter of whether you think air or coils have better attributes its just practicality for many
It's nothing to do with what has the better attributes. I'd much rather open the throttle on twisty road in a coil sprung boxster than an air sprung 4x4.
The point which you are choosing not to accept is that the P38 was designed on air. it's handling both on and off road and it's features and functions are based around a self levelling air sprung suspension.
It's not about what is better. Air or coil but around what the P38 was designed as and the losses encountered from conversion.
