Tried the fridge in place of the cubby box, it doesnt fit 😮‍💨😮‍💨 about 20mm too large! You can kind of wedge it in but needs some more thought to work...

So back in the boot for now, maybe revisit the slide out the door fridge or work out another way to fit in the middle!

I reckon the cubby box is the right shout mate. Front facing seats and the cubby box looks like it’s meant to be!

Cheers! I was hopeing to have them interchangeable depending on what im doing!

However i have thought of a quick bolt on modification to the frame that will allow the fridge to sit in the center! So will get to that at some point.

Also just saw an end of line sale at VGS....

So may have bought panoramic glass 🙈🙈

Well it could have been better....

Thanks to Empire Tuning had a new injector delivered to mid Wales next day! Tims 110 is fixed and running.

Only for me to investigate a potential slipping clutching clutch only to find the pinion bearing on the front diff was about to collapse 🙄🙄

Luckily a mate brought a spare long nose diff so spent today swapping it out. While doing that found the drivers side wheel bearing on the verge of total collapse!! Luckily came off the stub with no issues. Luckier still brought spare bearings.

So changed that.

The other side wasnt great either but a good clean and regrease it was fine.

It appears a lot of slit and water had mad its way inside the hubs. Not sure how as I only recently did the bearings! I either must have done something wrong or just bad luck 😒

Alas its fixed and the clutch slipping appears to have stopped? Very odd...

Mixed day. Lanes where amazing up around Snowdonia, really enjoyable.

Had the 110 at proper 45° was a VERY squeaky bum time! 1st low on tickover, was concerning but survived.

Clutch hasnt slipped at all, so im hopeing it was water or oil that had migrated in and now burnt off.

I also forgot to unlock the anti roll bar, so it unlocked itself...

Not great!! Chassis must have been rotten or weakened under there and I hadnt noticed. So got to weld that back up 😒😒

Horrible to drive without it. Feels like the backs going to over take the front.

Dropping off the old ATB to Xcess4x4 to be rebuilt as well.

Had a proper look today, looks like the 110 has had a full rear 1/4 in the past not just an xmember... Which i guess is good and bad 🙄

Either way fabricated some new ARB mounts

4mm mild, wider than standard, also cut some gussets as well. Lil bit of reinforcement.

Chassis has a fair bit of mud in it. So will use this opportunity to give it a clear out

Changed the pads, definitely got my moneys worth! 😅

Found a split ball joint rubber

Cleaned it out, flushed it with new grease. New boot and back on.

Disclaimer - not telling you how suck eggs!!!

Where you have the rot and towards the front where the crossmember and rear spring hangers are, there are crush tubes (for the shock mounts) and also there’s double skins either side of the rail that are like inner fish plates. Bare that in mind anywhere you’re chopping there mate.

Once you got it cleaned out, dynax and the long lance help!

Cheers dude! Much appreciated. Not done any chassis welding before bar some very minor repairs. So any help and tips is much appreciated!!

Those skins make welding in that area a bit trickier - they are basically curved 2mm angle iron working as a brace. You’ll soon see them!
