Its just a standard OBD plug on one end and USB on tother end.
In that case I reckon it has a fighting chance of working.

well i shall find out either way weekendIn that case I reckon it has a fighting chance of working.
So unlikely to be compatible with the EAS.Its just a standard OBD plug on one end and USB on tother end.
Now that I dont know but you`re the man that might, not got anybody round here now with a P38 to try it on.So unlikely to be compatible with the EAS.

It needs the car to be unlocked with the FOB to mobilise the engine and let it start unless EKA and immobiliser are turned off in the BECM which can be done with Nanocom.Right chaps I got to have a look at my P38 last night and found it cranks but no fuel plugged my crap on scanner in and I have fault code (27 anti theft device ) I'm assuming that the key has lost sync ? But I don't get an engine immobilized message on the dash ? And the led doesn't flash on the top of the dash either after it's been unlocked with the key ? It also has 12v on the solenoid on the back of the FIP with the ignition on ? Any of you lot come across this before?
Ok seems odd that I have been using just the key for weeks and has no messages on the dash etc not even sure they key fob works tbh I do have the eka code for it i think thoIt needs the car to be unlocked with the FOB to mobilise the engine and let it start unless EKA and immobiliser are turned off in the BECM which can be done with Nanocom.

Nanocom job or can it be resynced manually?Could be loss of sync between EMS and BECM.
EKA code may do the job.Nanocom job or can it be resynced manually?

That's what I said but maybe not very clearly.Could be loss of sync between EMS and BECM.
Is yours a manual? The sidelight warning light should illuminate each time the key is turned when entering the eka code if it does then the input is being sent to the BECM.are you entering the eka correctly?I believe @DanClarke did a guide.Well the key does not want to sync with it and the eka code won't enter no chirp from the alarm and just operates the locks and does no more , comes up with the same fault code 27 anti theft device , safe to say it's a brick actually I think a brick would be more useful
