In that case, it "might" be the stub axle seal or brake cylinder. Ah'm only guessing and will gladly be corrected;)

Ah'd be tempted tae say that it might be the oil seal on yer gearbox. Ye'll find it behind that plate in the second photie.
When ah did my clutch change, ah was advised tae change the seal while ah was in there. Just a thought;)
