    Srs Fault

Check that the fuse has not blown first. If ok then you will need to get it turned off with either Testbook or Rovacom. It comes on to tell you that the airbags require replacement and will force you to go to dealer to have them fitted.

    Seat switches

Would any body know if a seat switch from an earlier model Range Rover would work in place of an M REG switch with the memory control? The reason that I ask, is that there is a difference in price of £100. You can also get a switch from Mercedes parts suppiers for an 89 SE that is the same for...

Rear speakers in a classic, will non-L/R fit?

Any speakers of the same size will fit. If you wish to keep the same covers off the old pair, you will have to prise them off very carefully as they are stuck on and are very fragile.

    No Electrics Whatsoever

If you have no electrics at all then suspect the fuseable link. This will cut all power to the car if it has blown. You will have to feel along the loom to find the exact location of the link. On the classic Range Rover it is under the dash. Look for evidence of burning in the loom. Have...

    Rear anti-rollbar droplinks question

If you mean the large bolt that fixes the ARB to the chassis then this should not be loose. There should be a heavy washer on each end of the bolt, this will compress the bushes for a tight fit. If they are loose then the bushes must be worn.

Are you asking the question, is it my heater? It could just be the old age problem of the membrane in the doors letting water past the door cards and dripping in to the floor. Or it could be the door seals are worn. Do a hose pipe test if it is not the heater and se where the water comes in...

The hockey sticks you mention are the front radius arms on Range Rovers, Discoverys and Defenders, there are two of them. They hook over the front axle and are bolted to the chassis rails at the rear. They stop the car from axle steer and for and aft movement. The bushes in the front end can...
