Yes fully history. But little documentationNot a good sign, get any service history with it ?
well we all know the td6 has a Swiss cheese gear box
well what ever it is there must be metal in it for it to stick to the magnet
full service history means now't when LR say it's sealed for life so isn't on the service schedule.
looks like you went panning for goldThis torque converer and assuming box had about 90k at failure.
Fluid and filter had been done 20k prior
Sump emptyed and refilled 10k prior
I got 2 shudders in wales 500miles from home took my chance and just carried on home and took it off the road till i got another gearbox. Once i removed it and when i opened it up thats all the metal that was there.

I spoke to a transmission individual. He said torque converter is due to fail anytime
I wouldn't jump to conclusions but read on here about the GM box in the meantime. The fact it got to 108k miles is good going, especially if it hasn't had regular oil changes. Unfortunately if it is that far gone the fresh oil might push it over the edge. People tend to upgrade bits like the valve block. Bemble is the gearbox God on there things. If he doesn't know about it, no-one does.
it will be in the cooler as well so if you do have to change the box that has to be replaced as well because you wont get it all out
The replacement would come with cooler, torque converter and gearbox
Make sure the replacement box has had the upgraded sonnex valve block or you could be boing it again.
