Hi Gearbox oil is a pinky cream emulsified colour, any ideas what would cause this?

Has it stood for a long time? Could be condensation? Also goes a pale pink emulsion colour if it is running low and filled wither bubbles. The power steering reservoir often looks like that but settles back to normal red atf.

The oil is the gearbox can be(is) red/pink to start with as it is a Transmitssion Fluid (often ATF/Dexron III).
When water mixes with oil it emulsifies and turns in a creamy colour/consistency.
The gearbox does have a breather which can (in extreme circumstance) suck in water but it would either have to be damaged or disconnected and you'd be up past the wheels for it to happen.

It could be condensation build up (as @dag019 said).

If that is the colour, the gearbox needs emptying, flushing (ie fill with new oil, run around for a few days and repeat) untill its looking nice and clear.
You will damage the gearbox and the pump running gloopy pink goo in it over time.
