Diesel Bob starts from £300 + vat..The injector pump sprung a quite significant leak. Looks like a new one is on the cards in a few weeks… . I’ve looked at prices and they’re over £500!
Thanks. Will take a look. I haven’t got chance to do anything for a few weeks though.Diesel Bob starts from £300 + vat..
Main seal you can do yourself if you want to.
Head lights…
So I assumed the loom(boomslang type) i
had the earth fitted.
Put earths direct onto bulb & brightness appears. Remove wheel spat to get to the earth point, quick tug of the headlight earth and its not connected. Re crimp,re fit every thing and all works..
Now most sensible people check everything before fitting spats. And now the indicators don’t work.
Quick wiggle & all sorted
Check everything fit spats.
Check hazard switch nothing. Put right hand indicator on and all work correctly.
Not going to worry about it. These switches are temperamental
Tap number plate light and 2nd bulb starts working.
All good for the MOT
Yep to the loom/relays on the headlights. Been fitted over 6 years now.Get an ink rubber/matchbox striker side/ glass fibre pencil and clean bulb contacts and switch contacts .... it'll be reet ...
Have you fitted a relay for yer headlights to take some of the power strain from the switch and the harness ?
It's not just Landys. My Fiat has been amusing following drivers for a week or so. Left indicator, brake and tail lights alternating with the high brake lamp when I turn left. If I have to slow down too the back wiper joins in. Just one grubby earth connection on the loom to lamp connector cleaned last night and all is boring again.Head lights…

Reply to myself!Nothing so far, oil cooler pipe was meant to turn up this morning, still waiting.
I have found the plastic clip thingy on the cable, speedo end, does bugger all in relation to holder it on. The cable just sits there though it does work.Fog Light rewired
Reverse light rewired
Horrific wire splicing removed and replaced with fresh cable for indicators
Attempted to change the Speedo cable but I’m not getting a reading so something not right there
