Managed to get two HK A post tweeters, mine has the Hi line Lear with Philips speakers but the HK's fit except the wiring connectors are different  (they're also the same as the FL1 HK mirror tweeters), along with a new o/s rear door mid range tweeter so the sound system is as it should be. Also finally got the safari 5000 driving lamps back on it after getting some decent s/h genuine lens from Newbury earlier this year.

Regardless of which tweeter is better, the D2 one will be hugely more expensive than the F1 one - as it has 'Land Rover' printed on it!

I couldn't tell you which would be better as they've never worked but it's certainly nice to hear the highs from those tweeters. My FL1 has the HK system & has always sounded great. The HK one as you can see is marked 4ohms, not sure about the Philips.

Amazon sell 4 way stretch carpet material. My friend used it to cover inside of camper van and it worked into all the compound curves and left it wrinkle free. So i'm going to try that. At £37 including spray glue for 2m x 3m piece.

Discovery 3 - Electronic hand brake adjustment to stop the screeching again, full brake check. I've also had the diff oils replaced front and rear, just to note both levels were 0.4L front and 1L rear these have never been replaced since 2006.

Mileage: 131550

The base of the centre console cubby was cracking all around the screw holes from being leant on over and over, so I printed a shim to actually support the whole thing not only the post holes.

While I was at it I also replaced the missing door trim support posts.
