Despite the rain, wind and snow, I've taken the plugs out of bank 1...

Grubby ones i swapped for old spares to check it wasn't a plug issue but colours are the same

Got under the 322 today and it has officially joined the LR “leaky” club;)
Now to try track it down;).

Left hand side facing the engine, bellhousing to engine, nothing visible from top and seems oily;)o_O. What’s there I wonder;)

pics taken from under so on the right;). Nothing touched recently and all levels good, but I do know a little oil goes along way:p:D.

Put the leak free P38 back in the garage:D, which has not been run for ages and bowed to the RR gods arse first then nose up, battery is knackered though so used the “old” 322 1 to jump start:eek:. Took it for a run round the block for a smile or 3:p.

So some further info for folks to put in the "I have heard of that before" section of the grey cells. Or TDV8 owners to be aware of:).

The above leak is the Oil cooler which is set in the V on the TDV8.
Seems it could be a bit of a wait as availability seems sketchy. Once you know what it is and start searching it comes up as a common problem:eek:.
We could continue to use it, but if it did let go big time it would destroy itself pretty quick. so its parked up till replacement arrives.

Oh well, Good job we have the tractor and the P38:D. although to be fair apart from a front prop CV this is really the first big ticket item outside of service items.
We still love it:).

Cheers Alan but the ball has already been rolled, don't want to mix it up now:). We are fine as we have other vehicle's and it will be a nice excuse to drive the beast a bit more:D.

Do you have a link for it as I cant seem to find it using that name. If you fancy a week away;).

I'd take you up on that but this time next week we'll be in the air heading for warmer climes. I had a look on the Bay and they came up, don't know how to post a link but I'll get a item number for you.;)

John And Alan do an overland trip:D:D:D
Could make it into a series for tv:rolleyes:

As far as I recall only on switching off. Might flash up as you select reverse but I have lived with it so long I just ignore it.
When I had a bulb fail on mine I got the message whenever reverse was selected, it went out when D or P was selected. An LED should give the same result as it doesn't draw enough current so appears as a failed bulb. A CAN BUS LED should work normally with no warning message.
