OK, my side of the story.

I went to the workshop to check my wheel bearing and put the nice yellow shockers on it.

Everything went well with the back wheels :D and the shockers :D so I finished early.

Neil was doing the front and was a little slow, so I had nothing to do.

I was standing by the oil burner as it was a little cold. I have never, ever, touched it, its a bit scary to be honest.

I was suffering withdrawal symptoms and cold when suddenly I noticed it was getting warmer :D:D

When I turned round there were flames all over the floor :eek:

So I did the sensible thing and shouted for Neil. Who picked up the plastic burning drip tray and walked down the workshop. However it completely melted before the door and melted his glove to his finger. At this point he decided to extinguish it with the hosepipe.

I am innocent :D:D:D:D:D:D

you could make this into a film" carry on up the work shop"

Landy full of diesel, everything checked and ready to go. Only 2.5 hours left :D:D

Neils just scared me about brake bolts but all is good, 200 is going to change it before we go, thanks Andy :D:D:D

Scar house is great, second (and third) time I have done it and its totally different each way.
Belford.....it won't defeat me, I will take it on again with proper tyres and beat it!

I won't....unless we go back and chuck some rocks in the bottom of it  :p either that or 20-30 ton of hardcore! :D (spoilsport :D) With the way the lane is at the moment, stock or near stock Discos will probably incur some bodywork damage, probably, maybe. Mine's still a little too shiny to not care about that :D

Aye - it was quite the adventure, extracting Nij's Disco from where it had got wedged. 200 - sorry for just bundling your ropes in the back of your Landy - did not know where you had them stowed

I forgot the tinsel so had to do part of Belford in reverse ;) :) :D Eh
Well, seeing what happened to Nij, I decided that discretion is the better part of valour, or is it valeting? & backed up so I could turn around without trashing the side of my Disco... then proceeded to get myself & 200 slightly lost    . 200 had come back down Belford to shepherd me from the front, whilst my mate guided me from the rear. Oo-err, forget carry on up the workshop, carry on up Belford more like :D

Scar House was once again fun & Fountains Earth a gentle meander in the middle of nowhere in the almost pitch black; there was some moonlight last night.

God, it was a long drive home though - back in just after 4 am...

Thanks to Sue for organising the madness & to everyone who ventured forth. Why were 5 Land Rovers out & about in darkest Yorkshire at such ungodly hours? Because we CAN!
