storage solutions

Ultimately, IMHO, I believe that you should be able to remove your storage solution in a short time and put your seats back in when desired. My drawer and cupboard can be removed within 10mins. However, I tend to leave it in and limit the seating to five (I've put a cubby-box in the front - but that's a different storage solution!).

Thanks, seats are coming out then :)

I've been thinking (maybe a bit ott) about a complete internal framework in the back which will incorporate over head storage in the roof space and provide mesh sides to strap things to. I can hopefully find enough parts of bodywork i can put rivnuts in to bolt it all in solid.

This might be all a bit much, it's just the initial thinking!

I made up very quickly out of any old crap that I had lying around, two drawers, shelfs that fix with cable ties to my homemade dog (wife) gaurd that stops us getting the whole lot on top of us in an accident etc....

Also fitted a box made out of ply painted black, underneath my cubby box which is great for maps, papers etc......

500w 220 V converter in the front, rear cigar/USB plugs in the rear for the kids. Hinged box underneath brings cubby box up to spot on proper comfy height as an arm rest !

Soz it all looks a bit dirty/crappy ,carpets out, just been hoseing the inside out after a muddy off road do :D:D

Jeez Sean, but that's brightened up an already pretty damn good day, many thanks ...

Where's Wally approach to storage, priceless .. :)

I've found Henry... but struggling with Wally ;)

Was that when you were evicted from Englandshire?

nah, I collect accreditation's - so me OFTEC registration allows me to commission/install oil fired things from time to time

It was an absolute blast, can't wait to do another one. There are seven parts to that vid if you have an hour to kill

I bought the cooker housing, it's really nicely made, but then I wasn't really on a tight budget.

Rich was on a budget, and did this (it worked just as well as mine) :

THis is such a simple idea! I'm still in the planning stages for storage for my 88" but will likely be using this.

Well ya bugger. you made me sell the disco and get a 110. Now need to sort out storage in the back. But as it's a Van body need to be able to access all the way to the back??? mmm what to do??

have a idea for a double row of drawers with the rearmost drawers dropping down as they're pulled clear, and "dragging the 2nd drawer out of the back of the vehicle?? or at least clear enough to allow access.

Whether I'll get round to it. Is anyone's guess.

Does the drawer have to come out all the way? I have a small cupboard at the back of mine - you could do something similar if you don't mind climbing inside to gain access.

A couple of pics from last year.

Not really storage. I'm wanting something for the 110. I was thinking raised bed, so i can stick a few boxes and the dogs under it and then sleep on the top on an air mattress. I also want to be able to easily remove it all.

At the moment I'm thinking about box section slats to form a bed base and some type of ammo box that fits in the middle.

Cos I'm living in it permanently. at the MO. I have a bed across the wheel boxes. So yes ful length pull out option is what I'm looking at doing or liftup rear section. As mattresses 4ft wide (or whatever internal width is??) and I have 2x 2ft 6in and 1x 1ft sections. out of me pikey wagon.

I have spotted these AND AT A 1/3rd of Mobile **** systems drawers. They have to be worth a bit more research!
