I'm sorry for your loss but hey....she was always on Facebook.........

Prop spacer - prop spacer - prop spacer - :D:D:D

Seriously I think it is a great modification and with a trip to Maplins you can soon have mobile Internet and wifi

Cool

As you probably know iOS5 has personal hotspot, so with a wifi card I can use my phones net connection to get online on the laptop using the phone as an access point.

Although this won't be much use on most laning trips!

I did already steal a Wifi card off a mate who wasn't using it but it appears broke :(

If I remember I'll see if I can pick one up cheap.

And yes FFS I'm such a useless person, I haven't even looked on my account all week.

The prop spacer is right there on the workbench too, if I remember tomorrow I'll bang it in the post!

There's no easy way of remembering though, I've written a post it note now anyway!

Chill mate no props :D:D haha lol no props get it ....... OK never mind.

I will look at memory map as you said that many of your mates use it. I use Anquest which is free software and use OS explorer maps.

What gps aerial are you using? Did it just plug and play?

And now improved:

Blind rivets?

I think I have used blind rivets already. Not sure tbh, I have used large head 4.8x16 pop rivets and I think they are called blind rivets on the box.

I put them in from the top because there is limited clearance under the laptop.

What's a blind rivet then mate please, may need to drill these out! :D

Get a Vodafone pay-as-you-go one. Those dongles are real pay as you go, and not 30 day contracts. Mines been vvery useful.;)

Cheers joe will look into it!

Urm, regards cooling, the laptop fan is at the rear right corner, sucks air from underneath and blows it out the side and top.

There is 3mm clearance around the side, but otherwise it is just like having the laptop sat on the table. An aluminium heat sink table at that!

If it does get steamy I can easily drill a 40mm hole underneath the fan, that would be premium cooling but I really dont think it will be necessary, there is plenty of air around it and it draws from underneath, where it's own feet and fan grill are setting the clearance.

But thankyou for your concern :) :)

love the look of ya disco and thanks 4 all ya help tryin to get mine going just waitin 4 it to get picked up.ive just been reading about your car in landrover monthly as soon as i seen the pics im like i no that disco,so u think ul b gettin a civic any time soon lol.

6668mark - If Mr Noisy gets a Civic I will drive over it LOL nothing should replace the disco.......

So whats next on the list the Noisy? Once you have the seats fitted you should be almost done....But then again it is you we are taking about lol,,,,,,,

Arr haaa....notice you got both front n rear QT diff guards on.
I'm using a rear QT one, but haven't bothered with a QT on the front....probably should though heard its a bitch to fit???

There's a technique with the qt guards, I think it's secure the bracket, then loosely the top bolt, then fold the guard under and get the low bolts in, very awkward! Then tighten the top. Qt is must have, theyre washable so it's much easier the the clamp on type.

As for what's next, urrrrm? Yeah the seats are something to play with, headlamp upgrade would be handy, id like to upgrade the winch, seems only right to get an 8274 but the are super cash. Id like one in parts or broken to lower initial cost. A good one is £600 off eBay :(

My winch needs new solenoid, and it has gone SO slow! It still has the grunt, but really struggles on no load, which is odd! Probs need a rebuild and I'll decide what to do, would love 8274 but yeah they are venison...

I'm working on a upgraded screen wash, I'm thinking of using the headlamp wash pump with headlamp wash jets for the screen wash for mud beating, also working on a simple heat exchanger to heat the screen wash from the engine coolant to help out in the winter.

I think that'll keep me busy for a little while :)
