peterborough green laning

green laning - slow driving of 4x4 vehicles on untarmaced roads that have a public right of way for such vehicles
off roading - lots of mud, hills, bogs, water etc etc not usually a specific route just a perimeter boundary. generally a possibility of needing recovery and or breaking something

hope I'm on the right route with this

Yep off roading should be done on private land where as green laning is on public byways and whilst it can't always be avoided you shouldn't Drive lanes where there's a high risk if getting stuck.....

its just more fun if you do :p

I don't think that the antis and a lot of GLASS members would see it that way....

Recently there was an incident at Barrow Clump in Kings Forest (other side of A11 to Thetford Forest) where someone decided that deviating of the route by about 10 feet to go through the mud was a good idea. They got stuck and a lot of people got named and shamed on the dedicated Facebook page....

I'm not saying that it is impossible not to get stuck but actually trying to is against the code of conduct that nearly all official 4x4 clubs sign up to....and the reason for that is so we don't create ammo for the antis to help gets us banned....

no if you go out your way to get stuck u need a slap but if your on the route and get stuck then its ok as u dont go alone :D its the golden rule of off roading/ green laning:boxing:
