Front abs sensor is what needs doing apparently
It won't be the sensor, it'll need a new hub, which again isn't too difficult to do and we can help you with how to do it and avoid needing to get hold of a torque wrench designed to do a nut up to an insane torque. You just need to make sure you are absolutely sure which hub it is as sometimes diagnostics can get this wrong. Guess how I know!

Wonder why the seller doesn't get it done then before selling it?
Budget for a wheel bearing and knock the cost of the price.
I did one, a hub, for £60 but they are probably a few quid more now. If you cannot do it yourself then you need to count at least £50 for labour.

My son bought his with a brand new MOT, rear brake pads had no friction material left on them.

Only 1 picture and advert is just shouting.

Seems a bit dodgy

Update I got one a automatic no rust sills are sound in engine bay, arches are good also and chassis is solid been sound for nearly 2 weeks no issues no lights on dash, cold started 1st time every time......... until yesterday tried to start it turned over but wouldn't start so I left It half a hour tried it again and it started right away I went out for a few hours and left it parked up. I tried to start it again upon my return then the battery completely died and now the m an s lights have came on. This was last night I tried jump starting it to no a avail charged the battery it tried to turn over then completely died. so I replaced the battery as the battery health indicator, indicated that it was at the end of its life. It's turning over but will not start I've been under the car and had a look at the xyz switch to see if it was wet as we have had a lot of fog the last 2 days so thought some moisture may of got in to it.but it appears to be bone dry.
So it has a new battery on it and when I select gears with the gear stick it indicates each gear has been selected on the dashboard until I put it in D it flashes D on the dashboard and the D light flashes on the gearstick. It can also go from neutral to D with out pressing the button in it seems like its not selecting drive now since the battery died.
I've been reading on a lot of different forums that if the battery drops too low it'll activate the m and s.
Apologies for posting this in this thread but would any1 be able to direct me to any more threads as I have been reading about m and s lights all day.
Thank you in advance

Good luck searching, Disco's are awesome. Relics in a way but very cool vehicles. I remember looking for mine months. Wanted one without sunroofs, just don't need those in a car and they typically leak. Then found one relatively close. It had the original Warn winch, had the locking centre diff and had been sitting for almost 10 years, wet carpets (and this was without sunroofs), 3 amigos in the dash...crawled under and the frame was solid all the way to the rear. Bought it relatively cheap for being original TD5 D2. After owning it now couple of years I'm happy with what I got. Had to weld the sills and where the floor meets the firewall in the front wheel wells. The three amigos were caused actually by the battery being weak, haven't still changed any wheel bearings or abs sensors.

Eventually you'll find yours. These are all old cars and they wont be without issues. Just try to find one that has your issues! These are also great vehicles to learn maintenance and repairs.
