A bit of a unique member that shares equal time south of Chichester, West Sussex and Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada (northeast of Toronto)

Whilst in the UK, I really am limited with my equipment - however, in Canada (the true spirit of International) - I have access to my personal garage with tool box, ramps, jacks and air tools, larger mechanical shop nearby (15 miles away) for more major things (alignments, hoists) and 2 collision repair shops.

Parts are available from several dealers - few and far between for Defenders as not sold in North America since 97 (and sadly not popular that side of the pond). Every other model available both dealer and aftermarket.

I currently drive a Toyota Tacoma 4x4, and have access to a flatbed trailer. Also have access to a "wrecker" tow truck and flatbed tow truck locally, and to a very reasonable contract flat rate tow service should you need a recovery anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area or any of the major metro areas in Ontario.

Sorry, should have updated this sooner. The D1 sold a while ago and the D2 a bit after so have no Landy at the moment. Hopefully won’t be too long of a break but for now a 1.0 Focus isn’t going to help much here
