Morning, thought I'd best introduce myself, been hanging round for a couple of months, but now I'm finally legally on the road in my D1........passed my test on Monday morning, sorted the insurance out and drove back to work.
My names Gaz, I live in Cheadle, North Staffordshire and I currently own (and finally drive on my own) a 1994 discovery 1 300tdi......turns out she's not quite the truck I thought when I bought her, but everything can be fixed and/or upgraded.......few jobs that need doing ASAP......wheel bearings and some welding mainly........castor corrected front radius arms, adjustable panhard rod, possibly swivel bearings, replace the top of the rear passenger door and the door seal.....a few other bits and bobs too.......and then get the spraying kit out and raptor her.......I've decided on bright orange and matt black.......already got the paint......just need the weather now...orange to match the radius arms sat waiting in the garage (the pandhard rod will be powdercoated the same, so will the rrailing arms if i decide to replace them)....anyway.....hopefully attatched.....(I'm not really a techy type bloke).......is a picture of my LOLABEAR........
