Cheeky monkeys! I'm from the land of Hollywood! and Aspen! The right car or the right kayak or the right front porch can make you some money. Be polite and negotiate well.

Edit: Too many exclamation points?

Which Saturday? If it's next you can borrow mine for the right fee + the promise that you'll fix whatever brakes as it goes round.

Guessing this saturday, I've already offered depending on how much it'll put towards me new gun

Or actually I suppose I had better use the potential cash to pay for my garage bill for the engine swap

Thank you all for you're enthralling responses as ever. It's hardly an unusual ask considering companies make a living from 4x4 rental.
.

might not be an unusual ask, but considering you have the grand total of 14 posts and seem to be pretty much an unknown on this forum, are you not a little suprised to not be taken seriously ?

Oh hello, I know you don't know me from Adam, but can someone lend/hire me their land rover for the day ? I'm a good driver and it's not really off road, honest, I've got a letter from my mum and everything.

Apologies for late reply; I don't have as much time to spend on here as most of you. I have successfully hired from a reputable company and will no longer require assistance. Please feel free to continue to enjoy yourselves with this thread.

Ungratefull bastid

Can't help but wonder why using a 4x4 hire firm didn't occur to him earlier.:)

Coupled with having sold his Land Rover when he obviously needed it, I think he may be one of those people that if he lost one of his brain cells, the last one would be lonely.:D
