What an interesting read which has given me a brainwave! ... My 90 will be seen in the local lay-by at weekends with a 'for hire' sign in the front window. May need to write 'definately no pikeys' on it too but could be a good sideline

Your'll probably come back and be left with just the sign...

Apologies for late reply; I don't have as much time to spend on here as most of you. I have successfully hired from a reputable company and will no longer require assistance. Please feel free to continue to enjoy yourselves with this thread.
Do you have a bad job and are therefore unable to spend time on this site? Shame. Why didnt you ty a rental company in the first place? Who did you use and are they reasonable? My company uses SHB for all its landrover rentals. Thankyou for letting us carry on with this thread.:welcome2:

probably a silly question.... does a 21 year olds ordinary car insurance cover him in any way if he "borrows" a landrover....... not only are some companies not including 3rd party cover on borrowed vehicles.... im sure some are limiting it to cars...... same thing if you borrow a large van, yer normal car cover wont apply.

yer own landrover insurance dont include any cover for hiring out either.

in short if you want short term hire go to a hire company who will arrange proper insurance.

the op would have been better off offering one of us a free days shooting.

What is that piece of **** in yer avatar? It's worse than bein a gaylanderer.

It's a disco with a custom bodykit, the guy who sold it to me said you get all the benefits of a proper off roader, only with a nicer interior and it looks better ;), oh and more reliable

I'd get a refund from specsavers if I were you.

And a refund from your education authority as they definately should've done something about your lack of intelligence.:p
