Well what a disaster !!
Departed on the 50 minute journey to the show, M6 stuffed so delayed, 45 minutes to do 10 miles
Glad to get off the motorway at Preston only to be confronted with a road closed ahead sign right where I needed to go
Round in a 5 mile circle and back on track, eventually arrived after 2 hours just in time for tea.!!
Saturday was too windy to put gazebo up and it was a bit chilly so decided to relax and see the show Sunday.

Phone call 2am Sun, girlfriends dog has died so can we come home !!
Set off 9am to find M6 closed due to major accident and I got stuck on a dual carriageway backing up from motorway
15 mins later I'm off down the lanes to avoid traffic
M6 still closed two junctions down so backtrack again
Eventually got her back home after two bloody hours.
Chillin now with fresh bread and butter, chocolate cake and scones
Forgot to mention the puncture 😩

Glad you got home safe & sound. :) Sorry if the show was spoiled for you. :(

W knits for England, she is currently doing a sweater in oiled Shetland wool for her son which will become an heirloom. She was all set to go and learn crochet with a group when Covid struck.
Funnily my granny taught me and my bro how to crochet when we were little but we did nothing like she did.
Sailors do it when they reduce the length of a rope without cutting it by making a thing called a "Monkey's chain". Also known as a chain sinnet apparently.
I once did one in a girlfriend's parents' house in their downstairs loo where the length of the pull cord was ridiculously long and they had simply left messy loops.
Went back there just once 4 years later, it was still like it
I can knit too, but prefer crochet. Tell her to watch Bella Coco on YouTube. She taught me how to granny square.
Its deffo not zero somit like 50 millosomit to beath.
35mgs south of the border yours is 50.

Give me the Kawasaki any day over the Ducati. The Ducati will spend more time in the garage.

I do like a good kx to rip around a field in although forget doing it in stiletto boots.
Mate came back from America after 12yrs there...his Ducati has been lying in a damp Portugese house all that time behind a pile of Lambrettas in his spare bedroom...I suggested we pull it out for a look but he didnt want to go there this trip...I will have a brush and pan ready for september to collect the alloy dust...
