Price of the air filter for me tratter from the local well known motor factor jumped up a fiver this morning. £25. So I've ordered one on line from one of the major landy parts specialist, same item and make 8.5 sovs inc vat. So to add a bit of value, I ordered 2 air filters, 3 oil filters and a fuel filter. All OEM and quality items. That got the order up to free postage value (50 sovs). So got enough service parts for years to come. Better value I reckon.

Still waiting for the frog delivery company to (not) deliver the parcel.

Will be off out this evening, to the local "producers' market" to meet friends and have a spot of dins and a bevvy or two. First one of the season.
Oh and to buy some "Caillés" larvely!!!
We'll have to see if W can handle the crutches or will need the w-chair.

Phoned surgery yesterday and robot told to make appointment on line
Answered all questions on line and told to see GP asap
Called in surgery and told that can't make an appointment, have to do it on line
Told her no facility on line for making appointments at this surgery
Told to phone surgery tomorrow to have assessment
Back to square one then , throw another six to start

And the shame is that you don't collect £200 every time you pass go!

Luckily I was feeding the dogs and went to wash out a tin so managed to catch sight of the delivery van before blokey drove off!
I asked him, "Why didn't you hoot?" He said "I rattled the gate". (Which is about 30 yards min from the house) And of course he tried to phone us on the mobile!!
Still, all is well that ends well and now Stan has a little project on his hands. Making a roller mechanism so we can roll it out and off the pool when we choose to go for a dip!
(A shop bought one would cost about £300. No chance!)
