Ah half 5 is normal for me too. How's dad getting on? Will admit I love getting the washing out early too.

At 93 Dad is as well as can be expected, his legs are getting weaker so we've had to put provision in for that, his physio is getting some improvement still, so we'll keep it up even when the stint ends ...

A long time ago, in another life ...

Turbo is on, oil feed n drains sorted, very difficult job of fitting the heat shield plate under the turbo done, DPF/CAT clamped and bolted back in place. That's enough for today, top heat shield and alternator to re-fit tomorrow. And loads of cables to hook up. Still waiting for delivery of an idler pulley which was out of stock. Onwards and upwards :D.
Well done, you're getting there!:):):):)

bless her

crochet :)
W knits for England, she is currently doing a sweater in oiled Shetland wool for her son which will become an heirloom. She was all set to go and learn crochet with a group when Covid struck.
Funnily my granny taught me and my bro how to crochet when we were little but we did nothing like she did.
Sailors do it when they reduce the length of a rope without cutting it by making a thing called a "Monkey's chain". Also known as a chain sinnet apparently.
I once did one in a girlfriend's parents' house in their downstairs loo where the length of the pull cord was ridiculously long and they had simply left messy loops.
Went back there just once 4 years later, it was still like it. ;)

I've had to bring the washing back in as it was getting wetter being outside even under cover! Luckily I had done all of it bar one small load when the weather was fine. This is our third straight day of day long drizzle. :(

Hain't done the village festival much good! Din't stop em though, "And the band played on...!!!"

"we"???
Has the law changed up in Scottyland? Or is it cos you is on tablets or summat?:vb-confused2:

It was a topic of conversation last night I was told that a shandy could put me over the limit, the limit for soof of the boarder
is 3 units of alcohol for wimins & 4 for men (obviously we are all different) so cant be exact.
A 4% pint of beer contains 2.3 units....& a stronger beer up to 3. We have a lower limit than yous but I aint found a formula
to convert percentages/micrograms/milligrams of breath/blood/pee into pints.
