They did send up one of their detector type vans. We'd have asked them in if they got out the van but they din't bother. They just paused in the drive, did god knows what for a minute or two then fecked off.
I think that is fairly common knowledge now, thank God! Just used to frighten peeps into admitting stuff. Funny they were allowed to perpetuate the myth on telly for so long with the "We even know what they are watching" bollix!

Haven't the TV license people got right of entry? Sure I remember reading that ages ago.
I didn't think they had, but they will have if you invite them in. Too much on this to bang on about it here, but I think they actually have to catch you in the act of watching it. If you switch the telly off before answering the door, you are safe, so they try to look through the window to see the TV actually on.
